MonsterPants Radio & Riding A Black Unicorn Instrumentals

Voltaire will be on MonsterPants Radio today at 3pm EST / Noon PST. (Which is 8PM GMT.)

The Riding a Black Unicorn instrumental/karaoke album is now available for download over at CDBaby!
It has all the songs available as instrumentals and as karaoke tracks + Riding a Black Unicorn as an instrumental without the sound effects.

The Devil’s Bris Anniversary Edition & Jersey Devil

The anniversary edition of The Devil’s Bris, called The Devil’s Bar Mitzva, is now available on Projekt Records!

The tracklist is the same, but the new version is a digipak and comes with a sticker and a signed art card! There is also a rumour that the album will also be released on vinyl later this year: “There’s a rumor that The Devil’s Bris might be released on vinyl around Halloween. Still just a rumor though..” (Via Facebook)

The page for Call of the Jersey Devil has also been updated with an excerpt from Chapter 10!


Voltaire uploaded a new song called “Bunnypocalypse” to his YouTube-channel.

The lyrics have been added to the lyrics-section.

And a reminder, Voltaire will be appearing on the game AdventureQuest Worlds this Friday, the 13th of April.

The Devil’s Bris is possibly going to be released on Vinyl.

Voltaire said in this tweet that “There is talk of releasing The Devils’ Bris (1998) on vinyl around Halloween.” (Thanks to Matt Perron for the tip!)

Site updates

There are now pages for BiTrektual and Call of the Jersey Devil on Vorutania. The menu has been updated so that there is now a drop-down menu for Voltaire’s written things seperately from the rest of the Art.

Release dates list

Voltaire uploaded a huge list of his upcoming projects to his website. The list mentioned the following releases:

– Karaoke versions of his albums Riding a Black Unicorn and Hate Lives in a Small Town. Both will be digital.
– A digital release of an old demo cassette he released around 1995 when his artist name was Cave Canem. (Latin for “Beware of the Dog”) A possible (not confirmed) tracklist of the demo is:

– Nothing Is
– Ravens Land
– Life

– More toys! “Deady Bunny”, “Sleezter Bunny”, “Death Bunny” and “Sleezter Deady” will be released by Toy2R around Easter. Two of the designs can be viewed at the Deady Website.

– Another AdventureQuest Live Event, on Friday the 13th of April. The theme of the event will be “Bunnypocolypse”.- BiTrektual’s release date will be sometime late summer of 2012.

– The re-release of the Chi-Chian-comics in graphic novel format will be sometime this year. It is currently being coloured.

The Devil’s Bris 13th Anniversary Edition

The Anniversary edition of The Devil’s Bris is going to be a Deluxe Edition and will have a signed card. Voltaire says on his Facebook-page: "I’m signing these for the 13th year anniversary of The Devil’s Bris. I’d get paid the same with our without the signed card. Projekt and I just thought it was a nice touch." On the same page, Projekt’s Sam Rosenthal says: "Yep – they’re for the 13th Anniversary edition of THE DEVIL’S BRIS. It’s one of Projekt’s classics, and I thought it would be nice to create a "Deluxe Edition." Looks like the anniversary-edition of The Devil’s Bris is finally on it’s way… From Sam Rosenthal of Projekt Records:"My plan is to do "deluxe editions" on many of the titles I re-press (at the printer right now: Voltaire Nyc’s THE DEVIL’S BRIS (13th anniversary deluxe edition)!)."

– Instrumental versions of the songs on Riding a Black Unicorn may be released at some point, although any more information like format about it is unknown. Karaoke was mentioned, though!
